This is an
interesting idea for attaching the canopy on the Giles 202 109" He simply
took half dowels and mounted them to the sides so the canopy can slide down
into place. He also cut the bottom of the hatch out to lighten it even
more.
This is the method used to secure
the hatch to the fuselage.
Here is a series of
pictures showing how he did the inside of the fuselage. The rudder
pull-pull is also very nice the way is is done.
When you put a big
engine in an airplane you generally have to cut a lot of the cowl away.
This is a nice idea for adding additional support to the cowling.
